Information for Families
On Saturdays and on designated days during school holidays the Centre is open for recreational use by families and groups.
The Thomley Activity Centre offers a unique opportunity for parents and carers to allow their children to play, explore and learn in an environment which is both safe and secure. This means that children are able to spend time on site with more freedom and independence.
Our staff are on hand to lend support at all times but parents/carers need to stay with their children whilst they are on site and maintain responsibility for them.

In order to maintain Thomley Activity Centre's facilities to an excellent standard we encourage all visitors to make a recommended donation per child, per visit, details of which can be found below. If you feel that your personal circumstances prevent you from visiting Thomley Activity Centre, we would like to hear from you to discuss how we can help.
Recommended Donations for Families (Daily)
- £5 for 1st child
- £10 for 2 or more children
Any child attending as a friend of the family is encouraged to offer a separate donation.
Recommended Donations for Families (Annual)
- £90 for 1st child
- £180 for 2 or more children
You need to visit Thomley at least 18 times per year to benefit from an annual donation.
Use of Sensory Room
£1 per child per half hour booking
The sensory room must be booked in advance of visiting. We request that at least one parent/carer accompanies a maximum of 3 children in the sensory room at any one time.
Opening times
We are open from 10am - 3.30pm, every Saturday during term-time and Tuesday to Saturday during the school holidays to disabled children, their families and friends. On the first Saturday of the month during term time and Fridays during school holidays we welcome non-disabled children. We are also open every Saturday for birthday parties.
All visits to Thomley Activity Centre must be booked in advance by either calling the office on 01844 338 380 or by emailing: bookings@thomleyhall.org.

During term time there may be up to 6 weeks each year which will be allocated for maintenance and staff training. On these weeks the centre will be closed and unavailable for booking. The exact dates for each maintenance period will be circulated to all parties as soon as they are confirmed.
