A number of workshops are currently provided at the Thomley Activity Centre.

To date, these have included:

  • Managing Challenging Behaviours
  • Diet and Nutrition

The Training Centre has previously offered a degree module in Educating Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder accredited by Westminster College, Oxford Brookes University.

Plans for future workshops and taster days include:

Discussion groups:

  • Coping with adolescence
  • Understanding the SEN statement process
  • How to motivate your child to communicate
  • Discussion for dads

Taster Days:

  • Play Therapy
  • Basic Massage
